DAY 1 – From Cairo to Siwa Oasis by Car

At 07:00 am,Your journey begins early in the morning as you depart from Cairo, heading west toward the Mediterranean coast. The first stop is El Alamein, a site of great historical significance during World War II, where you will visit the war museum and cemeteries that commemorate the soldiers who fought in this decisive battle. After this cultural and historical introduction, the journey continues deep into Egypt’s Western Desert until you reach the tranquil Siwa Oasis. Upon arrival, you will experience one of Siwa’s most magical moments with a sunset view at Fatnas Island, where palm trees and salt lakes create a breathtaking natural landscape. The day concludes with dinner and overnight stay in a traditional eco-lodge.
DAY 2 – Discovering Siwa’s Heritage & Desert Adventure in the Great Sand Sea

After breakfast, the day is dedicated to exploring the cultural and natural highlights of Siwa Oasis. You will visit the famous Temple of the Oracle of Amun, historically linked to Alexander the Great, followed by a relaxing experience at the salt lakes, where the high salinity allows effortless floating. The tour continues to Cleopatra’s Spring, a natural spring surrounded by palm trees, and then to the remains of the Temple of Amun.
In the afternoon, the experience shifts to adventure as you head into the vast Great Sand Sea. A thrilling 4×4 desert safari takes you across golden dunes, offering opportunities for sandboarding and visits to remote desert springs such as Bir Waheed. As the sun sets over the desert, you will enjoy traditional Bedouin tea before going back to your hotel, dinner and overnight stay in a traditional eco-lodge.
DAY 3 – Day 3: Old Siwa and Return to Cairo

After breakfast, you will explore the historic heart of Siwa by visiting the ancient Shali Fortress, a mud-brick settlement that reflects traditional oasis architecture. Following the visits, you will begin the return journey to Cairo via Marsa Matrouh along the Mediterranean coast, with a possible short stop to enjoy the sea views. Arrival in Cairo marks the end of a unique desert adventure combining history, culture, and natural beauty.
