Then visit the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue, a landmark of Jewish heritage.
Next, head to the Citadel of Saladin, the medieval stronghold overlooking Cairo. Inside, marvel at the majestic Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known as the Alabaster Mosque, with its Ottoman-style domes and sweeping views across the city.

Start your day with a breakfast box from your cruise ship, then travel by private air-conditioned van to the world-famous Abu Simbel Temples. In ancient times, this site was known as Meha and was first documented in the 18th Dynasty, when Pharaohs Ay and Horemheb carved rock-cut chapels into the southern hills.
Upon arrival, marvel at the two colossal temples built by King Ramses II in the 13th century BC. The Great Temple, dedicated to the sun god Rahorakhty, is guarded by four enormous seated statues of the king. Nearby stands the smaller yet equally impressive temple dedicated to Ramses II and his beloved queen, Nefertari. Step inside to admire the richly decorated halls and learn about the incredible relocation project of the 1960s, when UNESCO saved these temples from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
After completing your tour, drive back to Aswan (approx. 3 hours) and rejoin your Nile Cruise. Enjoy lunch on board while the ship begins sailing north toward Kom Ombo. On arrival, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder), the falcon god. Explore its fascinating reliefs and learn about the dual worship that once flourished here.
Return to your ship and relax on the sun deck, watching the timeless scenery of the Nile as you continue sailing toward Edfu. Along its fertile banks, the ancient Egyptian civilization was born and thrived. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board, before arriving in Edfu for an overnight stay on the ship.
Day 6: Edfu Temple – Sail to Luxor
Overnight: 5 star Luxury Nile Cruise – (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
After breakfast on board, set out by horse-drawn carriage to visit the impressive Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Return to your cruise ship and enjoy lunch on board as you sail through the Esna Lock, a fascinating engineering passage that connects different levels of the Nile. Relax on the sun deck while the ship continues its journey toward Luxor, passing lush farmlands and palm-lined villages along the riverbanks.
Upon arrival in Luxor, begin your afternoon tour of the East Bank. Visit the spectacular Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built, with its colossal Hypostyle Hall of 134 towering columns. Continue to the elegant Luxor Temple, connected to Karnak by the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes, and admire its grand statues and beautifully lit courtyards as evening falls.
Return to your ship for dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor West Bank – Drive to Hurghada
Overnight: 5 star Luxury Nile Cruise – (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Start with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of the Theban pharaohs and nobles of ancient Egypt. Here, you will enter some of the elaborately decorated tombs, where colorful wall paintings and hieroglyphs reveal the pharaohs’ beliefs about the afterlife.
Continue to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, one of the most remarkable architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. Built directly into the cliffs, this terraced mortuary temple reflects the power and vision of Egypt’s only female pharaoh.
