Travel Egypt Now

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all reservations made with Travel Egypt Now LLC (“Travel Egypt Now,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

  1. Cancellation Requests:

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to travelegyptnow1@gmail.com.

A cancellation becomes effective only when received and acknowledged in writing by Travel Egypt Now. The cancellation date is the date on which we receive the written request, not the date on which it was sent.

Cancellation requests made by telephone, social media, WhatsApp, or through a tour guide are not considered valid unless confirmed by us in writing.

  1. Standard Cancellation Charges:

Cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of the total confirmed booking price:

• 91 days or more before the scheduled tour start date: 10%
• 60–90 days before the scheduled tour start date: 25%
• 30–59 days before the scheduled tour start date: 50%
• 15–29 days before the scheduled tour start date: 75%
• 14 days or fewer before the scheduled tour start date: 100%
• No-show or cancellation after the tour has started: 100%

The cancellation charge will not exceed the total confirmed booking price, except for separately disclosed payment-processing fees, bank charges, currency-conversion costs, or other charges imposed by third parties.

  1. Non-Refundable Costs:

Regardless of the cancellation date, the following amounts are non-refundable once paid, issued, reserved, or committed on the traveler’s behalf:

• Credit card and payment-processing fees
• Bank transfer and currency-conversion charges
• Domestic or international airline tickets
• Hotel deposits and special-event accommodation
• Nile cruise and Dahabiya deposits
• Entrance tickets, permits, and special-access reservations
• Visa services and meet-and-assist services
• Any other supplier payment identified as non-refundable

If actual non-refundable supplier costs exceed the standard cancellation charge, the traveler will be responsible for those documented costs, up to the total confirmed booking price.

  1. Amounts Due at Cancellation:

Cancellation fees are based on the total confirmed booking price, not only on the amount paid at the time of cancellation.

If the applicable cancellation charge exceeds the amount already paid, the unpaid portion remains due, subject to the total-price limitation stated above. By making a payment, the traveler authorizes Travel Egypt Now to retain amounts already paid and to seek payment of any valid outstanding cancellation balance.

  1. Refunds:

When a refund is due, it will be calculated after deducting the applicable cancellation charge, non-refundable supplier costs, and payment-related charges.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible. Refund timing depends on the processing times of hotels, airlines, cruise operators, banks, and payment providers. Travel Egypt Now is not responsible for delays caused by these third parties.

No refund or credit will be provided for unused accommodation, transportation, meals, sightseeing, entrance tickets, or other services voluntarily missed or declined by the traveler.

  1. Changes Requested by the Traveler:

Requests to change travel dates, passenger names, hotels, room categories, flights, cruises, or other confirmed services are subject to availability and supplier approval.

Any price difference, supplier penalty, or administrative cost resulting from a requested change is the traveler’s responsibility. A material change of travel dates or services may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new reservation.

Removing one or more travelers from a booking may cause the price for the remaining travelers to increase.

  1. Late Arrival, Early Departure and No-Show:

No refund will be issued if a traveler:

• Fails to arrive on the scheduled date
• Arrives late or leaves the tour early
• Misses a flight, transfer, cruise departure, tour, or scheduled activity
• Is denied boarding or entry because of missing or invalid travel documents
• Is removed from a tour because of unlawful, dangerous, abusive, or disruptive behavior

Any additional expenses resulting from these circumstances are the traveler’s responsibility.

  1. Force Majeure:

Travel Egypt Now is not liable for failure, delay, cancellation, or itinerary changes caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, transportation disruptions, site closures, or supplier insolvency.

When possible, we may offer alternative arrangements, rescheduling, or a future travel credit. Any refund will be limited to amounts actually recovered from suppliers after deducting non-refundable costs and reasonable expenses already incurred.

A force majeure event does not automatically entitle the traveler to a full cash refund.

  1. Cancellation or Changes by Travel Egypt Now:

We reserve the right to modify an itinerary when reasonably necessary for safety, operational, governmental, or supplier-related reasons. Comparable alternatives will be provided whenever reasonably available.

If Travel Egypt Now cancels a tour for reasons within our control and does not provide an acceptable alternative, the traveler will receive a refund of amounts paid to us for services not provided. This refund will be the traveler’s sole monetary remedy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Travel Egypt Now is not responsible for independently purchased airfare, insurance, visas, accommodations, or other expenses not included in the confirmed booking.

  1. Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Travelers should purchase coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, flight disruption, and force majeure events.

Choosing not to purchase travel insurance does not change or waive this policy.

  1. Acceptance:

By submitting a deposit or other payment, the traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation and Refund Policy on behalf of themselves and all travelers included in the booking.

The version provided or accepted at the time of booking will apply to that reservation. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable law.
